His album coincided with the Covid19 pandemic and all that would come with it, around the world. Now, just about three years later, the entertainer is gearing up to share new music with fans around the world, in a 17 track album he calls, “Born for Greatness,” set for release on September 8th.
Buju made the release of the album known via his social media platforms on Wednesday, saying,”Another milestone. Another stage. I embrace it all. I’ve accepted the change. Here is something ‘spacial’ from my experience and music journey.”
The artiste, who performed at the Redemption Concert in Trinidad in May, explained that the album is an ode to those who acknowledge the struggles and challenges that surmount. He added, “And others who will, your eyes are not deceiving you, nor are your ears. You were born for greatness.” The ew album will feature singles like, “Coconut Wata,’ ‘Yard and Outta Road,” High Life’ with Snoop Dogg and ‘Turn Up Tonight,’ among others. It will be available for pre-order, beginning this coming Friday.
