On Saturday night, at Drew Manor in Santa Cruz, North Trinidad, one of the season’s popular bands, YUMA, launched its theme for the upcoming season, calling it, “Awakened Treasure.”
The event kicked off at around 11pm with patrons being welcomed into a sprawling lawn venue, that was well laid out with personal booths for specially invited guests like the A Team Band who showed up in full effect. Among the artistes spotted were Lil Bitts and Eddie Charles, Kurlz and Zan. There were no artist performances on launch night.
The band launch symbolizes the return of ‘band launch’ season as it’s come to be referred to, with carnival lovers around the world now looking forward to what other bands will be delivering ahead of February 20th and 21st, 2023.
Awakened Treasure offers masqueraders twelve (12) section options, among them, Drip, Risque, Tempo, Emerald City, Frenzy, Rii Dung, Envy and Ruby Love. Designers behind the band’s sexy offerings are, David Dewer, Rawle Permanand, Kwasi McDonald, Alejandro Alexander, Lila Nikole, Krave the Band and Marie Collette.
