Capricorn Clark, a former employee of Diddy’s Bad Boy Records, took the stand today and she did not hold back. While being questioned by Diddy’s defense attorney, Marc Agnifilo, Clark described how her relationship with Cassie changed over the years. She claimed that Cassie shifted from a “sweet model” to what she called a more “feisty” personality as her romance with Diddy developed.
When asked about Cassie’s musical talent, Clark offered a mixed review—saying Cassie was beautiful and had some talent, but by her standards, talent meant powerhouse voices like Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. She called Cassie more of a studio artist, saying live performances weren’t her strong suit.
Clark also testified that Cassie got the royal treatment from Diddy—producers, stylists, dancers, the whole package—receiving more support than other artists on the label between 2007 and 2012. Despite that, she claimed Cassie often preferred being by Diddy’s side rather than focusing on her music.
Meanwhile, Cassie remains in hospital care, reportedly in labor, while her name is being brought up in court.
