Carnival may have been a woozy for many artistes, some clearly being seen in the festival, more than others, but for those who weren’t spotted on big stages, it proved to be the perfect opportunity to prepare for post-carnival music releases. Erphaan Alves is one of those artistes who was ready with a banger post-carnival and we hope you’re here for it.
The new single “Bad Gyal’ was produced by Kedon Charles. It is yet another intentional release by Alves, who has maintained for quite some time that Soca music should have no season, but rather, should be released throughout the year.
Complete with a video, the single hears the entertainer start with, “Bad gal me need in meh life,” before expressly blending vocals and powerful rhythms to create a head bopping chant.
