Controversial rapper and entrepreneur, Kanye West, along with his wife, Bianca Censori, are taking legal action against a well-known Beverly Hills dentist, claiming he played a role in the rapper’s alleged addiction to nitrous oxide—commonly known as laughing gas.
The couple, who recently quashed rumours of a split, have issued a formal notice of intent to sue Dr. Thomas Connelly. According to legal documents obtained on May 1st, West and Censori allege that Connelly engaged in dental malpractice during cosmetic procedures between 2024 and 2025, leaving Kanye with a serious dependency on the sedative gas.
The lawsuit claims Connelly went as far as delivering large tanks of nitrous oxide to West’s private residence, including the home he shared with Censori, “effectively enabling and encouraging him to inhale nitrous oxide outside of any medical setting.”
“You repeatedly administered or supplied nitrous oxide… in quantities and frequencies that had no legitimate dental or medical justification,” West and Censori’s legal team stated in the filing.
This latest development adds a new layer of controversy to the rapper’s turbulent public life, and many across the entertainment world are now watching closely as the legal battle unfolds.
