Soca artiste, Rodney ‘Benjai’ Le Blanc is making the rounds across social media, after schooling his online audience on the importance being honest with people about their personal hygiene.
The sensitive topic, which is something many often find difficult to do, was approached by the artiste from a sexual standpoint, with the ‘Wine to the Side’ singer sharing a personal experience. He spoke of a feminine odor, dressed with someone he had been seeing at the time, and highlighted that when he shared advice with his partner, she became enraged.
Known for his candor, the East, Trinidad native has been going live on Facebook randomly and he never holds back on his views. Fans, in the comments below this latest expression on the importance of being honest with others regarding personal hygiene, have, for the most part, applauded his stance.
Benjai is known for his laid back sound and enjoyable vocals. Songs like, ‘Trini’, ‘Come out To Play,’ ‘Phenomenal’ and ‘People’s Champion’ have made him one of Soca music’s great contributors. Now in Canada, the artiste told fans he is single and has been exploring the dating scene again. During the Facebook live, earlier this week, he went on to warn women in particular about being too picky when it comes to the men they wish to entertain. “You looking for a special man -6 ft, six figures, tall, dark and handsome. When you do that you cut down the amount of men that you probably would’ve had to see. If they had 24,000 men, and you cut it down to like 3000. Out of the 3000 who are the type you consider, you really feel they dingle waiting?” he expressed.
