Machel to Take ‘Encore’ to New York’s Central Park This Summer.

Machel Montano is all set to hit New York City in a major way this August with what his team is saying will be the performance of a lifetime at Central Park.

The 12-time Roadmarch champion, just off a phenomenal carnival 2026 season in Trinidad and Tobago, has announced his appearance at the Rumsey Playfield stage in the heart of Central Park in Manhattan, New York. “The opportunity to perform at Central Park after achieving this 12 Road March milestone fills me with excitement,” said the artiste. He added, “NYC has always been one of my greatest audiences and has supported my growth as an artiste. From sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden, Barclays Center, and UBS Arena, to now stepping onto the iconic Central Park stage to present my Encore performance, alongside all the theatrics we delivered to audiences during Trinidad Carnival, this moment will be nothing short of legendary. We ready to Give Dem Performance!”

Machel Montano is embarking on a multi-city Encore tour this year, even as he announced his final year of carnival competition involvement. Having secured the highest number of Road March title wins, surpassing Lord Kitchener this year, Montano says his focus now turns to delivering systems for artiste development and industry growth. During the season, as he premiered his ‘Like Ah Boss’ documentary, Montano and his manager, Che Kothari, shared insight into an online educational platform called ‘SoundBridge’ that will offer inside tips and information on all aspects of artiste development and management.
