On July 1st, Barbados born, Rihanna was spotted at the festival where her beau, A$AP Rocky had been performing. She has since been spotted at the Rolling Loud Festival in Portugal. There has been no details given on the name chosen by the superstars for their new born baby.
Prior to his performance at the festival on Friday, Popcaan revealed to fans that he had been ‘detained’ by immigration officials upon landing at the airport. He questioned why this had been consistently the case, demanding answers from his country’s Prime Minister, Andrew Holness. In response, The Jamaica Constabulary Force sought to clarify the matter, refuting allegations that he JCF had been causing the artiste’s detention. In a statement, the JCF said, “The JCF can confirm that Andre Sutherland (Popcaan) was convicted in 2009 in Barbados for possession of marijuana, and subsequently deported to Jamaica. He was again arrested in Barbados in 2011 for possession of cocaine. Arising from those arrests and other intelligence gathered, a Green Notice was generated by Interpol in relation to him in 2015. The notice was then reconfirmed by Interpol in 2018. A Green Notice provides Interpol members with a warning about a traveller’s potential criminal activities, where the person may be considered a threat to public safety.”
