Throughout the day, the Barbados born entertainer made everyone look with photos taken for the new ‘Interview Magazine‘ cover story. At just 36, the ‘Umbrella’ singer who has two children under age 2, said she is open to having another baby, in an effort to bring forth a baby girl.
In what can only be described as a candid one on one with her former stylist, Rihanna, speaking about her beau Rocky, said, “I feel like, goddamn, I look like his assistant. I’m getting on a plane. We should be in sweats. He wants to be in a full Bottega suit. I’m like, ‘Why you got to do that to me?.” Matter of factly, she admits, “I be feeling bummy as shit next to this man.”
Interview Magazine‘s Editor-in-Chief, Mel Ottenberg conducted the interview, relaying a brutally honest and down- to- earth conversational feature. Asked whether she feels competitive with A$AP, Rihanna responds, “No. It’s more like I spend my time getting the kids dressed to death, and then I’m like, ‘What’s the most comfortable outfit to wear around them? What’s not going to feel uncomfortable on their face or on their body or make me feel like I can’t hold them properly?’ Moms are lazy dressers in real life.”.
Known globally for her fashionable choices over her many years in the limelight, Rihanna is no newbie to the fashion scene. In fact, the entertainer admits that it was that common thread between her and her now partner, A$AP Rocky, that led to their romance. “We saw fashion the same. We saw creative the same. We ended up in the same circles a lot. And past that, when we grew up, we ended up supporting each other’s brands and products and creative all the time. I would wear his shit, he would show up to my launches.”
Rihanna went on to explain that she and Rocky started dating “with a lot of caution.” “We’ve known each other for a long time. I’ve seen him in relationships. He’s seen me in relationships. We’ve seen each other outside of relationships. We knew what we’re capable of, and the trouble that we could bring to each other’s lives. We can make or break each other’s hearts. And so, we started dating with a lot of caution.”
